Mid America Alpaca Show Results

This just in.....Isis' fleece took third place at the Mid America Alpaca show held in Topeka, KS October 27 - 29, 2006.

Here comes Marie!

 

Alpacas are raised for their fleece. In this photo Isis' fleece from 2006 is being sorted prior to competition. Her 2006 fleece took 2nd place at the AFCNA national show last August (the red ribbon below).















These are the ribbons Isis has won thus far in national and regional competitions. 

Isis was our first alpaca purchase. She may look white but her fleece is actually light fawn. She looks darker than Marie because she is, not because she's been rolling in the dirt (which she has). In these photos Marie is 1 week old and 22.8 pounds. 

PHF Liberty

This is Liberty. She is our second alpaca purchase. She currently resides at Peru Hollow Farms in Waterloo, IL. In a few months she will be moved to Always Alpacas in Highland, IL with Isis and Marie. Liberty is bred to Pooh Bear (photo below) for a Fall 2007 cria. (Photos courtesy of Peru Hollow Farms.)
